Things to do:
Always handle your wig carefully.
Before washing, brush the wig with a wig brush to remove tangles and spray on the wig. Wash your wig regularly. Your wig should be washed after about 30 times, or every 4 to 6 weeks. Learn how to clean synthetic wigs.
Use wig shampoo and other wig care products specifically designed for wig fibers.
Use wig conditioner regularly to help soften dryness, bring luster and fiber fluidity. Conditioner will also help restore the original style of the wig.
Hang your wig loosely on the wig holder, or spray some spray and let it air dry. This will ensure that the fiber of the wig looks healthy and easy to manage. Put a wet wig on a styrofoam head or a fool can stretch and break the wig cap.
Use wig styling tools specially designed for wigs. For example, wearing a wig cap under the wig usually brings a more comfortable wearing experience. This hat helps protect your natural hair and also helps prevent hair breakage and thinning, especially on the top of the head. Use the chin strap to firmly fix the wig on the head, freeing up your hands for styling. If you have trouble keeping your arms up for longer, you may choose to wear your wig on your styling head instead of on your own head. This will also make the back of the wig easier to style, and if you wear it, the other parts may not be easy to reach. The REVIVE™ hairstylist set designed by REVIVE has all these styling tools, including pins to fix the wig to the hair, makeup brush, and comb. Read more about how to design a wig.
Avoid contact with the heat of boiling water, preheated ovens, curling irons, hairdryers, clothes dryers, open flames, and grills.
Avoid rubbing things that cause friction, which may damage the wig, such as upholstered furniture, high collars, and pillows.
do not:
Knead, twist or twist your wig.
When your wig gets wet with water, steam, rain, snow, overspray, or sweat, brush or touch the wig.
Put your wig on the styling head because it is wet, which may stretch and damage the wig cap.
Use heating tools on the wig instead of specifically designed to be heat-resistant.
